More pedal radness!
As you can see from the images, the pedal is truly coming along and is pretty much in the “this is what you’re gonna get” stage… which means the gorgeousness is turned all the way up to 11!

These beauties are perfect for toe clips and straps- including our double leather set up… just in case you’re wondering. They technically *will* work with some of the Hold Fast genre of straps, though they’re not really built for them… but, we know you’re gonna do what you’re gonna do (because we do it too).
We’re shooting for a price right in the $70 range, but with sealed bearings and the sweet lightweight design we feel like we’re practically giving them away! Sorta…

Tire update; so close you can almost touch it!
Well, we finally got the very first samples of the new Slittata tires. As you can see from the photos, those meaty 28mm wide tires look mighty nice on a rim!
For our first run, we’ll be bringing the tires to your anxious hoops in Black, White and Red.
We’re also tossing around the idea of making some even fatter versions and a second tread design is already in the stew pot… who said playing with rubber wasn’t fun?

Parts will be coming soon… no really, they will
Thanks to everybody for their excitement about the launch of Brev M and all the sneak peeks of the products we’ve been sprinkling around.
Products will begin arriving here in mid to late March. Wheels and riser bars will be arriving a little after that in mid to late April. It’s later than we first thought, but if you’ve ever created something from nothing you’ll understand how that problem can spring up very easily!
We’ve been having a bit of fun in the studio with the samples and thought we’d dish’em up…
An alloy bar with a “vintage” track bend. Slightly flared out at the bottom and with a shallower drop for comfort and Brev M styling for great looks.
Built with loose ball hubs so that you can service them after you’ve been wrecking them on jumps, drops and potholes, the 36 hole wheels with 40mm deep rims will take beating after beating.
The 32 hole wheels have sealed bearings, cutout hub flanges and a 32mm deep rim. Their designed to be a bit lighter and serve as an excellent everyday wheel for urban riders who demand looks that match performance.
Feel the love? Pink grips will be coming in the second round of grips… so stay patient. Like any of the other Brev M parts, patience is a virtue and it will be worth the wait.
Pedals? Yeah, we’ve got some and we’ve got’em in a rainbow of fruit flavors… I mean colors. Similar to the old touring pedals we all know and love, but with a Brev M touch… of course. The cages are anodized of course, because color is very important, and the end caps are laser etched with the Brev M logo. The teeth on the cages have a little higher profile for better grip when riding in rubber soled street shoes.
Brev M saddles are designed to look great and ride even better. Some saddles are good for about a block of riding before your back end starts to complain. The Brev M saddles are designed to be comfortable for riding all over the two/ city without punishing you. The shape is very much a throwback to the old Concor and Turbo designs of the 70′s and 80′s. We ride these saddles ourselves and even after lots and lots of miles on all kinds of bikes, they still look great and ride even better. Want a happy ass? Ride a Brev M saddle!
Brev.M Pedal progress
Check it out. We just got our second pre-production sample of the new Brev. M pedal- how’s that for fast!
The first sample needed a little more reinforcement for durability and stiffness so we put material back in where it was needed.
We are pretty stoked on it now and after some quick (yet utterly thorough) testing should be bringing these babies in.
We will do a variety of colors too, don’t worry. This sample hasn’t been anodized yet but still looks pretty cool in it’s raw form.
To answer a few of the questions we’ve gotten already; yes- they will come in multiple colors, the bearings are high grade sealed cartridge bearings, the teeth along the cage are pretty high profile for good grip with or without toeclips/ straps but they aren’t shin shredders.
Though the pedals are closely modeled after the incredible MKS Sylvan style of pedal, they aren’t really intended to be a true touring pedal- though we have no doubt some folks will use them as such. They’re designed as a more robust and lightweight urban pedal with a “neo retro” look and feel to them.
Be patient, my friends… it will be worth it… fo shizzle.

Brev.M Pedal Sneak Peak
Here’s some photos of a prototype pedal we’ve been working on. This isn’t the final version, but it’s getting real close. So far it’s about the same dimensions as an MKS pedal just a lot thinner and a lot lighter. Each pedal only weighs 3.6 oz! That’s half the weight of an MKS pedal and they’re sealed. These pedals are extruded and CNC’d to exact tolerances. We’re pretty excited about them and have been riding them to make sure they work and feel right. Stay tuned for updates on the final version.

Keeping the rubber side down…
We recently received our first test sample from the mold of the new tire we are developing- the Slittata. Slittata is Italian for skid, but might soon also mean really cool!

Note; final tread pattern will vary slightly, but this is very close to the final version.
The Slittata tire is going to be offered- for now- in a 60TPI casing with a folding bead. For the time being, we’re also planning on offering the tires in Black and White as well as a few other colors to be determined still- but probably an additional 3 colors. (It’s important to give props to the guys at Fyxation for their excellent article covering many of the aspects of tires that are worth keeping in mind as you select your next set of road rubber.)
The tire will be 700 x 28mm for a little extra beef on the street. The casing is 60TPI for a pretty supple ride without a cost penalty. On top of that- literally- we’re using a bit more tread to give you more tire life without going so deep that the tire feels squirmy when cornering- we didn’t want to sacrifice ride quality just to get a couple extra skids in!
Pricing is still TBD, but it’ll be competitive, just like all of our other products. We’re pretty excited about this developing project and we’re really looking forward to getting the first tires in our hands (and on our wheels) to test out… you can bet we’ll keep you updated as things progress.

Wow! Thanks for the warm welcome…
Wow, since going live on Friday afternoon, we’ve been pleasantly slammed with lots of comments, inquiries, well wishes and questions.
The main question coming so far has been “where can I get your stuff and when?” So, to set the record straight/straighter, we will be seeing the first products arriving in December/ January. Things will be trickling in slowly at first as we get products flowing- designs were finalized on different schedules, so it’s a staggered thing at first.
We have new products not shown on the site yet that are also in development and we’ll have more coming after that too; we’re creative/ passionate mo-fo’s around here and have more ideas than we know what to do with. Needless to say, you can expect the mix to be pretty sweet and constantly changing. Keep in mind that the colors you see now might not be the same colors we offer in the future- our goal is to keep things fresh and dynamic. If one color slows down or is too “common” out in the field, you can bet we’re gonna stir the pot and make something that is the newest hot thing. In other words, change is good… so you’ll be seeing some.
Again, we’re super stoked that you all are digging this scene. If you like the smell of what we’re cooking now, stick around for the second course! It’s gonna be tasty!
